The treatment starts as soon as I enter Elizabeth’s space to wait for her because the energy is alive and full of light, happy and constant. If someone else has been in treatment ahead of me, I look carefully to see if I can tell how the person has changed during her precious time. Who is here, like me, to receive this wonderful blessing?

| Once I am on the table, Elizabeth usually begins by touching my feet. Immediately I feel the energy flowing from her hands into my body. If you have not yet become sensitized to the energy flow, you will still feel the wonder full connection that she is making with her hands. Elizabeth reads your body’s energy patterns and proceeds according to what she feels. At times you’ll recognize specific techniques, such as cranial sacral holding or reflexology massage, but her action is always unique to that moment and to the need you present. Persistently, she works until she notices a change, such as softening of hard tissue or a released flow of energy. Sometimes she will wait patiently while you move into a deeper and deeper state where healing can occur. |

Sometimes she will ask you questions or invite you to speak, and you will trust that you can say whatever comes to mind. This verbal aspect of the therapy is very important as Elizabeth helps you to deal with the emotional experience that attends powerful body work. Sometimes I have cried, sometimes I have shouted, sometimes I have breathed deeply in relief. Elizabeth often laughs with me in pure joy. By the end of the treatment I often feel as if I am floating in a sphere beyond this earth and totally at peace. But more than this temporary feeling of well being, I feel changed.

| Elizabeth approaches you with generosity and respect. You have the sense that she understands you, with your faults and your pains, and never judges. So rare is this quality of genuine respect! It forms the basis of her healing relationship with you and your body. And she will always tell you that the healing energy comes not from her, rather she is working with universal energy to allow you to heal yourself. This empowerment is also an essential feature of the therapy. |
