During the session
All or part of the session may be devoted to working with practitioner sensing using light touch and/or verbal dialog.
If it is appropriate that we spend our scheduled appointment time talking instead of hands on work, the remuneration for my time is the same.
During the sessions, you are requested to stay connected to your body experience, "felt sense." Attention to the physical body is valuable. It keeps the client in present time and facilitates change. Should your attention to your body sensations driftt, bring the attention back to breathing and the body sensation. The practitioner will assist with body sensation questions.
Be proactive during your session:
• Breathing deeply into the cells of the body during a session assists relaxation and accelerates the benefits of the session.
• If the practitioner’s touch is too light or too hard, the client is request to bring this discomfort to the attention of the practitioner immediately. This will allow the practitioner the opportunity to respond to the your request immediately.
• If you are uncomfortable (need heat, less blankets, light changed), tell your practitioner immediately.
Individual energy movement and breathing work will be suggested during or after a session. This is an educational process through body awareness that teaches us about our patterns in daily life. It's focus is in evoking uniform energy flow and a balance of the autonomic nervous systems. It is a valuable compliment to the session work, and the process of conscious embodiment.
